From the morning we were in Sokuluk, near Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan. Almost 6000 km away from home. The thermometer showed 37 degrees! We ran another day of training for veterinarians. On the spot we could notice, that we were not far from the capital. Next to the operating table there are accessories for small animals.

This is the first time we have seen something like that. It is obvious, that the approach to dogs is different here than in the south. Step by step we try to convince them, that sterilization is the only effective method of reducing the population of stray dogs.
